About your Photographer: My Story

Hello! So glad you are here! My name is Jessica Webb Buesing. I am a Missouri native and love all the wonderful backdrops that Missouri has to offer in regards to photography. My love of photography began at a young age. In elementary school I would set up different colored sheets and blankets on a clothes line in my basement, and have my "models" posing with my beginner film camera.

I am a midwest photographer who specializes in children and families. The Scarlett Lens offers Portriat, Wedding, Groups, Boudoir, and have the Mirror Me Photobooth.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours?: The studio is open M-F for pick up 9 am -4 pm. Photo sessions are by appointment only any day of the week. You must schedule your session first, showing up at studio does not always ensure there is a session or photographer in studio. Scheduling a session allows your photographer to discuss information about your session with you, so you are both prepared for the session.
Where are you located?: We are located in Sedalia, Missouri but travel to destinations all over the rural heart of Missouri.
What payment options do you accept?: We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as check, cash and PayPal.
How long is the typical wait?: Typical wait from time of your session to getting your prints will be two weeks. This is flexible due to photographers demand and you will be given a card after your session that lets you know when to expect to look in your folder for viewing.
Do you have a cancellation policy?: Yes, a 24 hour cancellation policy applies to your session. Your deposit will not be returned if you do not show up to your session or notify of need to change appointment 24 hours prior to your session.
